It is advised that an organization's HR personnel follow the five best practices to boost hiring efficiency (as shown in the following image). 01. Recruitment Planning

It is the first step in the human resource recruitment process that analyzes the job vacancies in the organization and prepares the relevant job description. It also includes job descriptions and descriptions of qualifications and skills required to perform the job.

These steps are very important for the recruitment process and will help in attracting the right and suitable candidates for the job. You can create a pool of interested candidates based on the education and experience requirements described in the recruitment plan.

02. Strategy Development

Recruitment Strategy The second step in the recruitment process is to develop a strategy for recruiting resources. Once the job description and job specification is complete, the next step is to determine what strategy the organization should follow to recruit potential candidates.

03. Searching
Once a recruitment plan and strategy have been developed, the search process can begin. The search consists of two steps

  • Source Activation
  • Selling
Activation took place when the vacant department confirmed it to the Human Resources Manager about the need. Approve the draft job description as well as the specifications. Under the selling, the organization selects a communication channel to reach out to prospective candidates.

04. Screening

Once the HR Recruiter receives the job application, it initiates the screening process. It is a step towards shortlisting the applications for the further selection process. The selection process begins after a shortlisting of applications based on job specifications. In the early stages, recruiters should clearly remove applications that are less qualified and unsuitable for the job.

05. Strategy Development

The final stage in the recruitment process is evaluation and control. In this process, the effectiveness and validity of the process and methods are assessed. Recruitment is an expensive process, so it is important to thoroughly evaluate the performance of the recruitment process.
